Using three categories of response to paediatric obesity treatment (defined as changes in body mass index SD score and categorised as poor, intermediate and good response) and obesity remission, Putri RR et al (JAMA Pediatr 2025;179:302–309 doi:10.1001/jamapediatrics.2024.5552) have evaluated the long-term effect of different responses to paediatric obesity treatment on future health outcomes in young adulthood.
